How One Activist Raised over $36,000 for Disaster Relief on Causes
How One Activist Raised over $36,000 for Disaster Relief on Causes: "Scott went on to Causes and created a cause for disaster relief in Alabama, selecting his local Red Cross, the Mid-Alabama Chapter, as the recipient of his fundraising efforts. According to Scott, about “50% of all donations after a disaster occur within the first 24 hours,” so it was imperative that he take action quickly. Within just 10 minutes, Scott had created a Cause, and within 24 hours he had raised over $10,000 for disaster relief."
