Herald Editorial: Give wisely in time of disaster: "When the earthquake struck Nepal last week it disrupted the lives of more than 6 million people living within 60 miles of the epicenter near Kathmandu.
According to the American Red Cross, the earthquake also affected surrounding countries, resulting in deaths and damages in parts of Bangladesh, China and India. The UN reports that more than 1.4 million people are in need of food assistance."
