West takes back seat, Asian countries lead in aiding Myanmar- Politics/Nation-News-The Economic Times: "In the wake of the global stand-off between western governments and Burma's military regime over the issue of allowing foreign aid workers into the cyclone hit country, Asian countries led by India, China and Asean neighbours have emerged as the conduit for channelling massive volumes of humanitarian and medical aid to the estimated 128,000 victims of the disaster."
