Navy Compass - San Diego Official Navy Newspaper - Boxer Sailors Help Communicate Maritime Strategy to Business Leaders: "The event provided Boxer Sailors a venue to communicate the strategy by educating more than 5,000 executives on the ship’s recent role in the humanitarian civic assistance mission Continuing Promise 2008, where Boxer spent two months in Central and South America providing medical and engineering assistance to Guatemala, El Salvador and Peru.

The ASAE event was designed to recognize the five key areas of San Diego’s economy including the Navy."

Delegation sees uneven recovery in New Orleans | Catholic Sentinel: "This is the first year a group from St. Charles has gone to the damaged city. They joined a delegation from St. Andrew Parish, which has made the trek for three years. This was the second year that the Oregon Catholics focused efforts on St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish in the Upper Ninth Ward, a largely African American faith community which defied a planned closure and has helped more than 200 parishioners get back into their homes even before fixing damaged parish buildings.
