Students to fold 1,000 cranes for disaster relief: "In response to the devastation in Japan as a result of the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, students in the Utah Valley University Japan Club and the International Student Council will hold the 'A Dollar for Help, A Crane for Hope,' fundraiser March 21 through the 25."

Chinese billionaire Chen Guangbiao takes philanthropy to disaster-hit Japan - Focus discussion - People Forum: "Chen Guangbiao, a 42-year-old billionaire and chief executive of recycling company Jiangsu Huangpu Renewable Resources, headed to Japan Friday to personally donate rescue supplies and 13 million yen (US$158,820) to the country’s earthquake and tsunami victims, according to the Yangtze Evening News (in Chinese)."
