UP to £50million donated to help tsunami victims may have been left unspent in charity bank accounts, a spending watchdog warned yesterday.
The Government has no idea if most of the of taxpayers' cash it handed over to charities had been used, the National Audit Office said.
Tory spokesman Andrew Mitchell said: 'These monies should be released as soon as possible.'"
