Canberra relaxes rules on publicity for aid handouts | The Australian

Canberra relaxes rules on publicity for aid handouts | The Australian: "THE government has eased off natural disaster relief guidelines making its flood aid conditional on receiving publicity for the handouts.

Canberra's guidelines for states struggling with disasters such as the Queensland floods and Victorian bushfires demand that 'at a minimum' they acknowledge the commonwealth's contribution in press releases and on websites, in recovery centres, and in advice to the public about the aid on offer."
