(WGGB) -- Many organizations answered the call to help people hit by the June 1 tornado, in some cases stretching their resources dangerously thin. Now, there is help for these helping hands.
'Right after the tornado hit, we decided we had to serve as an opportunity for donors to come together so they could collectively pool funds,' said Nancy Reiche, Vice President for Programs at the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts. 'And we could do something that could be a coordinated response to help as many organizations that were helping people.'"
