S'pore Red Cross donates to flood relief efforts - Channel NewsAsia: SINGAPORE: The Singapore Red Cross (SRC) will contribute S$200,000 as its first tranche of emergency relief to Thailand and Cambodia.

The donation came from generous donors to SRC's "South East Asia Flood Appeal".

SRC's director of operations, Mr Lim Theam Poh, and director of special duties Mr Benjamin William will present the monies to the Thailand and Cambodia Red Cross during their visit to Bangkok and Cambodia from October 12-13.

Mr Lim and Mr William will also meet the heads of disaster response, Dr Amant Barlee of Thailand Red Cross and Ms Pum Chantinie from the Cambodia Red Cross, to discuss further needs of those affected by the disasters.
