S'pore gives S$50,000 to support disaster relief efforts after Sichuan quake - Channel NewsAsia: SINGAPORE: The Singapore government will make a contribution of S$50,000 through the Singapore Red Cross to support China's disaster relief efforts following Saturday's earthquake in Sichuan.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has also written to Chinese Premier Li Keqiang to convey his condolences to the people and government of China.
