Midwest Tornadoes: Agencies Provide Disaster Relief - News and Weather For The Quad Cities -: With homes and lives torn apart by tornadoes that struck the Midwest, including Illinois, people are wondering how they can help? Two agencies are already on the ground assisting victims.
The American Red Cross of the Quad Cities has sent a half dozen people to assist with providing food, shelter and supplies to those affected by the storms. The Red Cross says it opened a total 12 shelters in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan.
