Japan focusing on relief efforts around Kathmandu to help Nepal quake victims - Channel NewsAsia: "KATHMANDU: Japanese medical personnel provided more assistance to survivors of the Nepal earthquake on Sunday (May 3), for those who continue to live in tents at a refuge camp in central Kathmandu.

The Japan Disaster Relief Team from Tokyo, comprising 35 medical experts, was deployed to Nepal on Apr 29. It is focusing its energy on relief efforts around the capital, including the Thundikhlel camp, which at its peak temporarily housed about 11,000 people."
