American Red Cross Ongoing Relief Effort for Sandy Update

American Red Cross Ongoing Relief Effort for Sandy Update: In the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, thousands of people from more than a dozen states have turned to the American Red Cross for help and trained disaster workers are responding with food, shelter and comfort.

“This response to Sandy is just getting started. The storm has left devastation in its wake and we will be helping people for weeks to come,” said Gary Striar, CEO American Red Cross Northeastern New York Region (ARCNENY). “This will be very costly and the Red Cross needs help now. We ask everyone to support us as we help people recover from this massive storm.”
