Australia, New Zealand deploy amphibious ships on relief mission to Fiji | IHS Jane's 360: "Australia has deployed its Canberra-class amphibious ship on a HADR mission for the first time
Mission will prove out the Canberra class' humanitarian assistance and disaster relief capabilities
The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) has deployed the first-of-class amphibious assault ship HMAS Canberra (L 02) to support relief efforts in Fiji after the country was struck by a tropical cyclone on 20 February."
